Missed Appointments & Cancellation Policy
We value the time we dedicate to each patient, and missed appointments or late cancellations can prevent other patients from receiving timely care. We understand that unexpected situations can occur, so we kindly ask for as much advance notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Our policy is as follows:
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice (or more) if you cannot attend your appointment.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend without notice (a "no-show"), will be considered a missed appointment.
For a first missed appointment with no prior notice, we may apply a discretionary charge.
If more than one appointment is missed without prior notice, we reserve the right to charge a £45 fee per missed appointment. This fee must be paid before any further appointments can be booked.
This policy helps us maintain availability for all our patients. Please be assured that we do not wish to enforce fees unnecessarily — we would always prefer to work with you to reschedule where possible. In exceptional circumstances (e.g., genuine emergencies), we may waive the fee at our discretion.
